Ipswich GAC

The Ipswich GAC project is a PFI concession co-located with retained Trust estate in a busy acute hospital.  Equitix share the project with InfraRed on a 50% basis.

The project included the design, construction and Hard FM operations of the Garrett Anderson Centre (GAC) comprising Accident & Emergency, Critical Care and Day Care Surgery.  The build was completed on 8 April 2008 by Kier Eastern. KWS provide the FM services.

EMS took over the MSA in July 2022 and GM is currently working on:

• Rectifying a long standing Cold Water Temperature defect.

• Utilising waste steam generated by the retained Estate to improve energy efficiency.
