East Ayrshire Community Hospital

East Ayrshire Community Hospital was one of the first MSA appointments for EMS where Equitix are not the majority shareholder.  In 1999 the project was one of the first to be  procured under a PFI contract with EMS appointed 20 years later in an SPV management role in July 2019.  The 7,000m² facility has 24 beds staffed by local GPs, an outpatient suite, 13 frail elderly beds and 16 elderly mental health beds, rehabilitation facilities, social work team and day hospital. 

This is a milestone project for EMS and our professional, high quality and collaborative approach has been well received by all stakeholders.  EMS work cohesively with the service provider BAM FM to ensure a high quality of service provision whilst fostering strong relationships with the Authority.
