Giraffe Wind Sites

EMS provides Commercial Management and Finance Management services for two medium scale wind farms totalling 13MW: ​

Kessingland in Norfolk has 2x Senvion 2MW wind turbines commissioned in 2011. At 78m tall they typically generate around 13GWh per year.​

Wern Ddu in North Wales has 4x Enercon E70 2.3MW wind turbines commissioned in 2010. At 57m tall they are expected to generate around 21GWh per year.​

The total annual energy yield is 34GWh per year, enough for the population of Newquay in Cornwall.​

Operational and Technical Management of the sites is outsourced to Bridge Wind. EMS provides technical oversight and commercial management of all SPV contracts, with particular focus on Power Purchase Agreement strategy and technical risk reduction.​
