Swarcliffe Social Housing

EMS has been appointed to deliver full MSA services to the Swarcliffe Social Housing project, commencing 1 September 2023.

Equitix, Aberdeen Infrastructure and Yorkshire Housing are the investors in the Swarcliffe Housing PFI project located in the City of Leeds, with debt funding provided by the Bank of Scotland.

The Project comprises the refurbishment and maintenance of 1,554 council-owned dwellings, which includes 1,125 houses, 28 bungalows/maisonettes and 401 flats.

The contract was awarded following a two stage competitive tender which included three other management services providers. EMS’s depth of social housing experience and expertise were cited as key factors in the decision to award the contract to EMS.

EMS provide MSA services to nine other social housing projects. The addition of Swarcliffe to EMS’s existing portfolio will take the total number of dwellings under management to circa 10,000.
