Irish Social Housing
The EMS team in Ireland marked a significant milestone with the opening of the Ballyburke Show House on 24 November 2020. This is part of EMS’s work for the Irish Social Housing Bundle 2 ‘Rebuilding Ireland’ programme. EMS is delivering the SPV management services on behalf of TORC Housing Partnerships, a consortium comprising Equitix, Kajima, Obrascón Huarte Lain and Tuath Housing Association which reached Financial Close in November 2019. Social Housing Bundle 2 PPP comprises eight sites for the development of 465 social housing homes across counties Cork, Clare, Galway, Kildare, Roscommon and Waterford.
Despite the challenges faced by COVID-19 on this project which included a 7-week lockdown in March, progress since getting back to the site in May has been very positive, and we look forward to welcoming our new tenants into their fantastic homes in Summer 2021.
